Recognition Roundtable at Sound Transit
You are invited to the Puget Sound Recognition Roundtable on Wednesday, March 7 from 3 to 4:30 pm at Sound Transit. The address is 401 S. Jackson Street, Seattle. The meeting will be held in the Santa Fe Room just off of Union Station. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking will not be validated.
We want to build on the momentum created at our January RR and continue the dialogue on easy ways to show appreciation at work. This meeting will focus on 3 things:
1) What is Sound Transit doing in the recognition space, featuring Kristina Ofsthun, HR Coordinator and Recognition Champion;
2) Debrief Employee Appreciation Day (March 2) and share other ideas to encourage the practice of appreciation to boost your workplace culture; and
3) Thankology - the art of noticing "out loud" and how to apply this technique to create more meaningful recognition experiences on an individual, day-to-day level, as well as formally within your team and company.
Space is limited, so register early! The registration fee of $35 includes samples from the Recognize the Moment toolkit you can take back and use immediately. Tickets are non-refundable but substitutions are welcome.
There will be a drawing for two tickets to the Mariner's Baseball Game at the All-Star Club Level at Safeco Field including VIP Parking and a delicious all-inclusive buffet and dessert bar -- a $270 value!!!
The Recognition Roundtable is an informal group of employee recognition practitioners and other HR professionals who meet to share ideas, tools, and strategies to build stronger cultures of appreciation and great places to work.
This is the second of several sessions to be offered in 2018 in the Seattle area.
