April Verch blends the traditions of roots music and step-dancing with her own artistic voice and vision in a high-energy show that puts her award-winning fiddling and songwriting talents out front. The band's performance at Luna is part of our Syble Hopp Music Series: a tradition started in 2006 where we take bands to the school in De Pere and then host concerts at the cafe at night to fund the series and artist visits. Syble Hopp School is a facility for physically and developmentally disabled students ages 3-21. April Verch Band will be our 22nd musical visit to the school.
