Big Joy Festival 2017
We are celebrating five years of Big Joy! This years main goal is to showcase current experimental acts from Vancouver and abroad. For 2017's edition we are again featuring many artists we have never hosted before, maintaining our commitment to continually acknowledging and supporting the ever changing landscape of Vancouver's experimental sound community while playing host to a select few of our past alumni. We're hosting a hoping to present a broad spectrum of what Vancouver's weirdo music scene has to offer currently, casting a wide net across many genres and styles. Vancouver has a diverse underground music scene and our hope is that in it's fifth year, Big Joy can offer an exciting, varied and relevant cross section of that scene and beyond.
