The Calgary Boys' Choir Presents "Snow Angels"
As temperatures drop and the days get shorter, join your local angels in the Calgary Boys Choir. They celebrate the festive season with a concert entitled Snow Angels.
These days, good news seems like it can be in short supply, so our angelic boys will be sure to lift your spirits, says Paul Grindlay, artistic director. We will offer numbers about angels and holy mysteries, and songs about the simple fun and innocence of being outside in the snow.
The concert will also feature sing-along carols, which Grindlay hopes will inspire budding new recruits to join the choir. Its Gentlemens ensemble heads to Europe at the end of the current season to compete at a choral festival in Barcelona.
The whole family will love what we have to offer, he says. If you know a musically inclined boy aged six and up who enjoys singing, please bring him to Snow Angels.
Snow Angels take flight on Sunday, December 3rd at Bethany Chapel beginning at 3 pm. Tickets are available via the Calgary Boys Choir website (calgaryboyschoir.com). Patrons are encouraged to bring donations for the Food Bank, including non-perishable food items and cash.
