Dance artist Anjal Chande performs original solo repertoire and works-in-progress in the intimate Soham Dance Space studio located in Chicago's Wicker Park. Witness live dance up close and personal and enter Chande's world where she weaves together music, poetry and philosophy with topical and humanistic themes. Chande's work, rooted in bharatanatyam technique, seeks to bridge the traditional and contemporary with an audience outside the classical dance world.
A discussion following the performance will include light refreshments and time to dialogue with the artist and fellow attendees.
