Long Story Long: November 29th Edition
Long Story Long is a storytelling show created to let the audience get to know the performers a little better. Most stories onstage are just a sliver of a person. Long Story Long offers not just a glimpse, but a video. A chapter instead of a page. A Vine instead of an Instagram.

With more time to share, performers are able to mold their craft in a different and challenging way.
Longform stories allow us to come along with them on their journey.

The show is upstairs at 61 Local, a cute gastropub that serves only local food, wine, and beer.

Stephanie Butnick is the deputy editor of Tablet magazine, and a host of Unorthodox, its weekly podcast, which was named one of the 50 best podcasts of 2016 by The Guardian. She has written for The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, none of which impresses her cat.
Mark Pagán is an award-winning comedian, film and podcast producer, writer, and former b-boy. A Moth Storyslam winner, his work and performances have been shown at festivals and shows worldwide including Slamdance Film Festival, Arizona International Film Festival, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Charleston Comedy Festival, RISK!, The Moth, Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, Story Collider, Peoples Improv Theater, and Magnet Theater. He currently produces and hosts the series and live show, Other Men Need Help.
Richard Cardillo has been an educator for over three decades and still considers himself more of a learner than a teacher....but always a storyteller! Rich is a six-time Moth StorySLAM winner. Hes performed at Mostly True Things, Pros(e) Of Pie, Story Collider, Taboo Tales, RISK!, and was recently featured on The best of RISK! 12 Podcast. Rich is a passionate bread baker and a passionate activist.
Our musical guest: Daniel Zinn is an Israeli violinist who has won too many music awards to name. He has played solo with the Jerusalem Conservatory Orchestra as well as the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, and recently has managed to produce a full symphony orchestra that incorporated professional, college students, and gifted highs school pupils, all playing out of love for music. Daniel is currently earning his Masters in Mannes College of Music at the New School.

Tickets available at the door for 15 dollars.

Doors at 6:45. Stories at 7:15. Drinking begins at your discretion. ;)
