Repeatedly selected as The Most Conscious Artist by the Jamaican Federation of Musicians, Prezident Brown has been mostly successful in his endeavours to shine a light, on what he calls, the highest form of The Music. If you are one of those fans fortunate enough to have been following his career, you will notice it doesn't just seem like all of his songs contain strong and positive messages, the type that will bring peace to a troubled heart, or shine a positive light on a negative situation, because it is safe to say that 90% of the large catalogue of songs the Prezident has, will do just that. The Do Thy Work Ep represents just that. The term Extended Play is a very apt description of this product, as tracks are remixed to explore further into the highest realms of the music. Reggae Artist Chezidek described it as "Giving the people the songs in All the different styles" One instance being the change from the contemporary feel of the "Do Thy Work" original, to the primal sound of the Nyabinghi version and continuing to the Reggae based but Hip Hop tinted Remix. The most Positive, Uplifting and Conscious since the great Bob Marley, are a few of the superlatives critics and fans alike use when speaking of Prezident Brown's music and live performances, and many will also tell you these qualities also shine through in his personal character, as the path to righteousness is not just something he sings about, but also a path he strives to follow.
