Long Hollow Winery Songwriter's Night (Tomberlin, Narmore)
An evening filled with original songs from Bobby Tomberlin and Mark Narmore.
Grammy, CMA and ACM nominee Bobby Tomberlin, started his music career at the age of eleven as a disc jockey in his hometown of Luverne, Alabama, interviewing legends like Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash.
Mel Tillis gave Bobby his first publishing contract and for the past two decades, Bobby has been a staff songwriter for CURB Records Publishing.
Bobby co-wrote the number one hit, "One More Day", recorded by Diamond Rio. He also co-wrote the Darryl Worley Top 10 single, "A Good Day To Run" and the recent chart hit, "Country", by Mo Pitney. Bobby's songs have also been recorded by Barbra Streisand, Willie Nelson, Blake Shelton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers, Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys and many others.
Bobby has just released a new CD, Out Of Road, featuring guest vocals by Vince Gill, Bill Anderson, Bobby Bare and Mo Pitney. Recently, Bobby costarred with Stephen Dorff and Kris Kristofferson, in the film, Wheeler.

Mark Narmore hails from the music mecca of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He grew up on those soulful sounds and has emulated them in his songwriting and performing for the past 30 years. He has had over 80 major recordings to his credit including the likes of Josh Turner, John Michael Montgomery, Terri Clark, Craig Morgan, Shenandoah, Blackhawk, Brandy Clark, Sylvia, Tracy Lawrence and Michelle Wright.
Over his career he has been blessed to have had stints at Fame Publishing in Muscle Shoals, Reba McEntire's Starstruck Music Group in Nashville, March Music, SONY ATV Tree Publishing and is currently a staff writer at Noble Vision Music Group whose past writers and artists include Tony Arata and Jim Glaser.
Mark's first country hit was "The Moon Over Georgia" on Shenandoah, followed by Blackhawk's "Like There Ain't No Yesterday". In 2005, Mark co-wrote the most played country song at radio that year and also Billboard's #8 song for the 2000's decade, "That's What I Love About Sunday". Mark was awarded a bronze star in the lobby of the Alabama Music Hall Of Fame in the Shoals for his achievements. Mark has 12 Josh Turner cuts, all of which the two of them co-wrote.
