THIRD WORLD w/Jordan T., One A-Chord, Soulwise, Pacific Grown
This night will be one that everyone will remember. Never has a legendary reggae artist like Third World has ever performed in the Salinas Valley. But, now we bring you that night. This night will not only be filled with Legends, but also with local artists from the Santa Cruz mountains to the Salinas Valley area as well. Reggae music has been living and breathing in our area for many years and now we have an opportunity to make this night one of the biggest reggae shows ever seen in the Salinas Valley.

Third World
With 10 Grammy nominations, sold-out tours worldwide, a loyal fan base and a catalogue of Top 40 Billboard charted smash hits (including Now That We Found Love, 96 Degrees in the Shade, Third World has been one of (if not the) most consistently successful reggae bands. Third Worlds reggae fusion style mixes R&B, funk, pop, rock, dancehall and hip-hop into the genre, making them one of Jamaica's most popular crossover acts among international audiences. The band has toured and worked with the late great Bob Marley (including opening for Marleys first world tour in 1978), Stevie Wonder (who produced 2 of their albums in the 80s released with CBS), Santana and Jackson 5 (opening for their first concert in Jamaica). They have also shared the stage with the likes of Bono of U2, Sting, The Police, Whitney Houston, Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Jimmy Buffet, Eric Clapton and Marc Anthony and landed national TV performances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, Arsenio Hall Show and many more.

Celebrating over 40 years in music, one of the most pivotal reggae bands of all time Third World has dropped their new single "Eyes Are Up On You" off their upcoming full-length album. The song and album are both produced by Damian Marley and will be released on Ghetto Youths International.

Third World'sbassist Richard Daley explains why this musical processcomes full circle."I had the honor of working with Bob Marley back in the 70s doing some recording in London and how remicinensent it is as I sit in the studio working with Damian Marley. It is the same feeling and vibe, as we record and produce songs like "Eyes Are Up On You" and others. It is a great musical moment."

Damian Marley adds to the excitement and says "I'm proud to be working with my uncles!"

The song, which will be accompanied with a lyric music video to follow. is a reminder that actions speak louder than words."Eyes are up on you, careful what you do, someone is watching you" states the melodic chorus. The single artwork, inspired by Caribbean-influenced street art, is created by Oakland-based artist Ras Terms, a key figure in Miami's 80s & 90s graffiti scene who is of Puerto Rican and Colombian desent.

Jordan T.
"Maui Reggae star JORDAN-T is taking Bob Marley OD along with his unique dash of sun splash hip hop to anada 'POSITIVE VIBRATION' level. A breath of fresh air and if his sold out concerts and high energy performances of Artistic Integrity like his fellow Hawaiian star IZ is a indication of a class act, then he is certainly destined to be the next Reggae SUPER STAR IMO [in my opinion]. Ps.JT = J- ust T-errrefffic- glad to have him as a Bro n INSPIRATION. One Rastaðð" - Quote by:  Phil Chen OD - Bassist for Bob Marley OD, Jimmy Cliff OD, Ernest Ranglin OD, Skatalites, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King, Ray Charles, Roy Orbison, The Doors, Sir Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck, The Bee Gees, Brian May, Queen, Eddie Van Halen, The Who, etc, and almost every one under the sun.

Jordan T, former lead guitarist of the legendary Katchafire and Maoli, will be touring once again with the Maori band in July 2017 for their #legacyTour2017. Fresh off his U.S #Springtour2017 as direct support for vocalist/songwriter Sammy J, previously Headlining his own #BridgesTour2015 of the West Coast, he's continued to spread the message of Aloha and Island Reggae Fusion vibes nation wide throughout 2016.

As a solo artist of Hapa (halfbreed) Austronesian/Ilokano/Dutch ancestry with family island roots in Maui, HI and Kirkland, WA, Jordan has been busy touring and working on his Full Length Debut album, "Bridges with the Vibes", to be released July 1st. He got his start playing solo looping sets at local bars and parties around the Hawaiian islands. With the drop of his Original #1 Hit Single in 2013, "Sunset Tonight" (recorded at BuPrint Studios, Oahu), he worked his way onto the local and international radio stations pushing him to bigger stages. Recent opportunities include International Music Festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Chiemsee Summer (Germany), SummerJam (Cologne, Germany), and American reggae festivals like Reggae on the River, California Roots Festival, Island Reggae Festival, and Trenchfest (Guam). Jordan T has shared the same stages with bands/artists such as Katchafire, Jimmy Cliff, Major Lazor, Anuhea, Sammy J, Soja, Damien Marley, Maoli, Hirie, Common Kings, Fiji, Collie Buddz, Irie Love, Ali Cambell (UB40), Kimie, Ekolu, Rebel Souljahz, The Green, J Boog, Bobby Mcferrin, Mick Fleetwood, Michael Shrieve, and many more.

With a Successful Kickstart Campaign in 2016 (presented by the Originatives), the fans raised about $30,000 (exceeding his goal of $23,000) to support his upcoming tours and the albums production.

His live performance will give you a vibe you'll never forget as he's known to give 110% of himself out on stage and with his fans. With a true passion for his art, insistent to use music to infect the world with positive vibes of Love, Aloha, and Realness, he works to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps- Aiming to connect on an international level for a higher purpose. This is his mission.
