Se les invita a Intermedia Arts (2822 Lyndale Ave South, Minneapolis) para la Recepción de Apertura de la Exhibición de Arte del "Festival de las Calaveras: Día de los Muertos"! La exhibición, curada por Ana Laura Juarez, presenta la obra artística de Rebekah Crisanta de Ybarra, Luis Fitch, Tania Galaviz de Espinosa, Jonathan Herrera, Ana Laura Juarez, Dougie Padilla, y Melodee Strong. La recepción comienza a las 6PM y el programa comienza a las 7PM con DJ Miguel Vargas y más! Habrá bebidas y aperitivos.

"Festival de las Calaveras Arts Exhibition: Día de los Muertos" es una exhibición de arte multimedia y multidisciplinaria que explora expresiones contemporáneas y elementos tradicionales relacionados con el Día de los Muertos entrelazados con temas de justicia social que afectan a la comunidad Latinx, involucrando la participación de artistas latinxs en diversas etapas de desarrollo.

Festival de las Calaveras es un festival de música y artes latinxs organizado y presentado por el grupo comunitario Artes Tlalnepantla. El festival se centra en la celebración tradicional y contemporánea del Día de los Muertos, una tradición indígena mexicana que honra la memoria de antepasados y seres queridos, la dualidad de la vida y la muerte y la cosecha del maíz.

Festival de las Calaveras se compone de una serie de eventos que se llevan a cabo anualmente en el otoño e incluyen música en vivo, danza, teatro de marionetas, exhibición de artes visuales, animación multimedia, palabra hablada y actividades artísticas familiares. Los eventos del festival toman lugar en sitios reconocidos de las Twin Cities, reclamando y creando espacio para las artes, artistas y la comunidad Latinx.

The exhibition, curated by Ana Laura Juarez, features work by Rebekah Crisanta de Ybarra, Luis Fitch, Tania Galaviz de Espinosa, Jonathan Herrera, Ana Laura Juarez, Dougie Padilla, y Melodee Strong. "Festival de las Calaveras Arts Exhibition: Día de los Muertos | Day of the Dead" is a multimedia, multidisciplinary arts exhibition that explores contemporary expressions and traditional elements related to Day of the Dead intertwined with social justice issues that affect the Latinx community, engaging the participation of Latinx artists at various stages of development.

Festival de las Calaveras is a multimedia Latinx music and arts festival volunteer-organized and presented by community group Tlalnepantla Arts. The festival is centered on the traditional and contemporary celebration of Day of the Dead, an indigenous Mexican tradition which honors the memory of ancestors and departed loved ones, the duality of life and death, and the corn harvest.

Festival de las Calaveras is composed of a series of events that take place annually in the fall and include live music, dance performance, puppet theater, visual arts exhibition, multimedia animation, spoken word, and family art-making activities. Festival events take place at leading Twin Cities venues, claiming and creating space for Latinx arts, artists, and community.
