IIBC Laureate Series
To kick off Indy Baroque Music's new IIBC Laureate Series, we welcome back Vincent Lauzer, winner of the Stanley Ritchie Audience Prize of the 2016 Indianapolis International Baroque Competition. The Canadian recorder virtuoso stole the audience's hearts with his captivating performance of Telemann's Suite for Recorder before a sold-out audience at the final concert of the 50th Indianapolis Early Music Festival. Returning once again to the stage of the Basile Theater at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, Lauzer is joined by the Indy Baroque Chamber Players, a new versatile chamber music ensemble comprised of members of the IBO. Lauzer and his colleagues celebrate the 250th anniversary of Telemann in a program of multifaceted chamber music. Vincent is Artistic Director of the Lameque International Baroque Music Festival, and plays with Arion Baroque Orchestra, I Musici, Vancouvers Pacific Baroque Orchestra, and Les Violons du Roy.
