The Revolution 2013 Tour featuring Eye Empire and Three Years Hollow
Eye Empire
The origin of Eye Empire began in 2007 when Corey Lowery (Stuck Mojo/Stereomud/Dark New Day) and B.C. Kochmit (Switched) started to construct what would eventually become the foundation of this empire.
After two years of writing and searching for the right voice, Donald Carpenter (Submersed) joined the group in October of 2009 followed by former Texas Hippie Coalition member Ryan Bennett on drums. The band's debut album: Moment of Impact will be released in the coming months via Bad Puppy Records / Bulldog Productions.
Produced by Corey Lowery and Eye Empire, early pressings of the album have already sold thousands of copies on-line exclusively through mail order. An expanded track listing with three brand new songs make up the national release of Moment Of Impact.
The first single from the album, "I Pray" has already been heard on Sirius/XM's "Octane" for the past few months; while the band has been staging one standing room only show after another. Eye Empire will immediately head back out on the road for dates beginning on September 4th in Madison, WI, and rolling in to a direct support run with Wayne Static's Pighammer that commences on September 27th in Sacramento
This is their "Moment of Impact" and it's just the beginning.
------------
Three Years Hollow
Three Years Hollow is a five piece hard rock band hailing from the Quad Cities (IL, IA). Three Years Hollow's sound combines driving rhythms with melodic vocals and sweeping hooks. The band's sound has been described as the love child of Chevelle, Disturbed and Sevendust,
2012 saw a tremendous amount of growth for Three Years Hollow (3YH) as they released their second CD, multiple music videos, joined the bill for Rockstar Uproar in Chicago, secured a partnership with Ernie Ball and co-wrote and co-produced their third EP by working with Sevendust's Clint Lowery. All this activity has come while playing a full show schedule and broadening their hard core fan base, affectionately dubbed 'Hollow Nation'.
'Remember', the long awaited follow up to 'Ascension' was released in March 2012 to a sold out crowd. The recording process for this EP took them to Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, IL to work with Tadpole (Disturbed, Staind, Adelitas Way, Seether) on production and mixing, then on to Brad Blackwood of Euphonic Masters (Adelitas Way, Evanescense, Sick Puppies, Skillet) for mastering. That EP produced the band's most successful single and music video to date, 'Chemical Ride'.
3YH also had the honor of being a national finalist in the 2012 Rockstar Uproar Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands powered by Imagen Records. In doing so, the band played the Chicago stop of Uproar and drew the attention of several national fans including the Ernie Ball Corporation.
In November of 2012, Three Years Hollow collaborated with Clint Lowery (Sevendust, Call Me No One) to compose and produce the next generation of 3YH music. The first song, 'Take The World' has been included in their live set and the song title has been adopted as the battle cry for the band. Release dates for the new recordings are still pending.
As if all of these 2012 accomplishments weren't enough, the band also spent the year adding an admirable list of stage-mates to their already impressive resume. Papa Roach, In This Moment, Filter, Saliva, 12 Stones, POD, Eye Empire, Janus and Royal Bliss were added to the existing resume of Chevelle, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, Pop Evil, Black Stone Cherry, Evans Blue and several others.
As Three Years Hollow enters 2013 there is essentially one goal: growing the geography of Hollow Nation. As the band's battle cry and favorite hash tag indicates, Three Years Hollow is definitely out to #taketheworld.
