Ayla Nereo WORKSHOP & CONCERT - Bellingham, WA
WORKSHOP (5 - 7 pm)
Ayla will lead us into an exploration of our voice, our breath, and any fears or hesitations we may experience blocking our fullest expression. As we empower the voice for speaking, singing, and giving sound, we also learn how to open our vessel to whatever creative energies want to come through us.
From this place, we will be exploring the countless tools and exercises Ayla has gathered and developed over years of making songs, writing, and performing music. You will leave with concrete practices to support your ongoing creative pursuits.
We will also learn how to send sound into the universe with intention and power, as vibration that can catalyze change and harmony in our own bodies, our lives, and the life-forms of this planet.
This workshop will focus largely on voice-opening and songwriting craft, but will be applicable and helpful to ANY area of life work, especially those involving creating or sharing ourselves with others (such as teaching, writing poetry, painting, cooking, public speaking, etc)
CONCERT (8-10 pm)

Her lucid storytelling and lyrical imagery are water for the thirsty soul; words and sounds that crack open the heart, and embody the many folds of our own selves.
Raised on opera, 60s folk, and psychedelic rock, Aylas music touches both the timeless and modern; where prayerful circle songs, mantra, and roots music meet ancient beats and folktronica. Crafting an immersive soundscape we can dive into, Aylas performances are each their own inspired journey; an enchanting and poignant experience that holds you by the heart and doesnt let go.
