Jerome Clark began the formal study of guitar at Grinnell Music Studios in Detroit. During the past two decades, Clark has performed at Bakers Keyboard Lounge, The Bird of Paradise in Ann Arbor, Mich., the Chicago Theater, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and at many private engagements. In 2009, Clark completed Water, his first CD. Clark also has worked as a sideman for various groups in the metro Detroit area. In the summer of 2012, he was the opening band for Walter Beasley at 11th annual River Raisin Jazz Festival in Monroe, Mich. Clark now leads his own band, The Jerome Clark Trio. His band members include keyboardist and slide guitarist Benson Wheeler and drummer Jabari Kersey.

Great Lakes Arts & Jazz Festival JAZZY Thursday FUNDraisers proceeds help finance the 3rd Annual Great Lakes Arts & Jazz Festival, held Saturday, September 9th, 2017 - in Ottawa Park Amphitheater, Toledo, OH.
In addition, we are very proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds from our FUNDraisers and festival will start the Great Lakes Arts & Jazz Festival Scholarship Fund -- to buy music instruments and art/music lessons for Toledo-area children.
