At the end of this presentation you will: - Understand the history of design-build projects. - Recognize the change in risks involved in a design-build project. - Understand the importance of professional liability insurance. - Understand risk management and its application to the professional practice of architecture, engineering, and construction. - Be able to spot and recognize the nuances of various design-build contract clauses that may result in increased exposure. - Know how to formulate a strategy for shifting, transferring, mitigating and managing risk.
