Kensington Singers - Summer Term 2017 (Performing Arts Students)
Need to improve your sight singing? Want to stretch your harmony skills? If so we would like to invite you to join Kensington Singers for the Summer Term 2017.
The choir, led by award-winning choral conductor Hannah Brine, meets on Monday evenings (7-8:45pm) in Earls Court and this terms rep includes jazz and latin, which will be great for your understanding of close harmony and syncopation. Hannah is estill voice trained and will also help reinforce your vocal technique. Alongside their termly performances, members of Kensington Singers opened the Olivier Awards 2017, performing with Gary Barlow and the cast of the Girls. In 2016 members also performed at the Royal Variety Show at the Hammersmith Apollo and Hannah sang on Strictly Come Dancing.
We are offering current performing arts and music students and those who have graduated from these courses within the last 2 years (2015 or 2016) half price fees for this term. Singing in a choir is widely recognised as one of the best ways to learn to sight sing and read music.
