Glacier Peak Institute Inaugural Fundraiser
Glacier Peak Institute was born in the effort to empower youth through action based education to build resilient rural communities and ecosystems.
Please join me and support the recovery of and future of this wonderful community on May 18th @ 6 pm.
there will be bluegrass music from Darrington, Bluegrass Capitol of the NW. As well as music from Community Arts Presents from SE Seattle. Youth from both communities will be performing.
Silent Auction items including a refurbished picnic table made of North Cascades National Park salvaged Alaskan Yellow Cedar by Darrington Mayor Dan Rankin, a walk with North Cascades Botanist Mignonne Bivin, wood work by famed Darrington local Rich Van Cooten, raft trips with Adventure Cascades and more.
