Concert with the Club: A Night of Music
This concert is a fundraiser for the Watkins-Montour Rotary Club. The proceeds will be used for local scholarships, grants, and community projects.
The concert features the following bands:
Casey Max and the DixieKats are a concert, show and dance band who play a variety of traditional New Orleans Style Jazz, Dixieland, Bayou Gumbo - Mardi Gras, Good Time, Listening and Dance Music. The Band has been featured headliners at Dixieland, Jazz and Wine Festivals, State and Regional parks and many other special events in New York State and Pennsylvania, including the New York State Fair. For many years the band has been a staple at Cornell University Alumni and Sports functions. Most recently, the band has played at the Lilac Festival in Rochester, New York; The Great New York State Fair and has been featured at the Hershey Sports Arena playing in front of six thousand people for their 2009 Centennial Celebration.
Rebecca Colleen and the Chore Lads is a local Finger Lakes band that whose genres include country, bluegrass, and Americana. Rebecca has performed with Rhonda Vincent, Claire Lynch, The Gibson Brothers, Russell Moore and Nothin' Fancy, among others, and has also been featured on WVBR's Bound for Glory radio show...
