Make either a bust or wall plaque of your favourite deity. Whether you are into the Buddha, Virgin Mary, Obi Wan or Cthulhu, this class is perfect for making the centre piece for your shrine.
Working with Raku clay you will spend 6 weeks building a bust or 3D wall plaque of your chosen character. You can chose to fast fire to a stoneware temperature which creates a lovely toasted effect on your piece or mix glaze and slips to create various stunning effects.
This course is suitable for novices and those with some experience.
NB Novice potters will be making a Buddha head or green man/woman wall plaque along with the tutor, those with more experience can adapt the class to make the deity of your choice.
