Salt Creek Chamber Orchestra Winter Concert
Conducted by Dr. Tim Semanik, this concert features Valse Triste by Jean Sibelius, Tchaikovsky's Rococo Variations with cello soloist Sarah Hansen and Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 "The Pastorale".
Cello soloist Sarah Hansen is the Instructor of Cello at Bradley University and a member of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. She also performs regularly with the Illinois Symphony, the Quad City Symphony, and the Chicago Composers' Orchestra. Sarah currently resides in Chicago, where she maintains a private studio and actively performs as a soloist and chamber musician. Previously, Sarah has served as teaching faculty at the Chicago School of Music and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. She earned her B.M in Instrumental Performance from The Hartt School of Music in Connecticut and her M.M. from DePaul University in Chicago.
