A Taste of the North

The Wells Lions Club is putting on a craft beer, wine and food festival fundraiser for our club, which supports more than 25 local charities including Salvation Army, St. Vincent DePaul, U.P. Honor Flight and the Delta County Cancer Alliance to name a few. We also build wheelchair ramps at no cost to the recipient and offer free eyeglass exams for people in need.

The $35 ticket gets you 15 "sample tickets" for you to redeem from some of the areas most popular craft beer brewers and wineries. The ticket also includes a custom made glass mug.

Northern style foods available for purchase from Andys, Bobaloons, Dobbers Pasty, Hereford & Hops and Viaus.

Entertainment includes a bonfire, hay wagon rides, yard games, putting contest, 50/50 drawings and live music featuring OZ.

Contests for favorite beverage and favorite food will receive $500, voted on by the people. And whoever dresses up in the best "Taste of the North" costume will win $500!

Tickets also available at Hereford & Hops, Delta County Chamber of Commerce, WYKX Radio Station and Bald Eagle Harley in Marquette.

Must be 21 to attend. Data transportation offered free of charge.
