Always a highlight of the holiday season in the Bay Area, Winterfest will once again take the waterfront in Sausalito by storm. Offering a full weekend of festivity, including the notorious Naughty and Nice Ball, and the legendary Sausalito Lighted Boat Parade and fireworks on the San Francisco Bay. Its all staged under the Big Tent along the scenic shoreline at the Sausalito Yacht Harbor Marina.

This evening has become one of the most celebrated Christmas parties in Marin County. And this year it promises to be a Thriller with the King of Pop.
Celebrate the golden age of Hollywood with Foreverland the famed Michael Jackson tribute band

A free, public event for kids of all ages
Bring the kids for all the festivities and relax over a cup of cocoa while savoring the Sausalito waterfront. Then impress everyone in the family and take them on the Sausalito Gingerbread House Tour in town, holiday shopping at local boutiques along the way; oh what fun it is to ride without a one horse open sleigh!

6:30 PM --- parade followed by fireworks & dance party

Dozens of brightly lit and beautifully decorated boats parade along the scenic shoreline
The Winterfest arena is open to the public and offers a sheltered, warm, festive and hospitable site for viewing the parade
Food trucks & no-host bars
Back by popular demand: the band Mustache Harbor will be providing entertainment

A breathtaking experience (in more ways than one!) the 5K, as well as the brunch, are both a benefit for local educational programs for kids: the Dipsea Kidz at-risk-youth program and the Waterfront Foundation Youth Education Fund which teaches kids from all walks of life about sailing, nautical skills, the marine ecosystems of the bay, environmental sustainability and stewardship.
The entire weekend is a sponsored by and a benefit for the The Sausalito On The Waterfront Foundation, a 501.c3 non-profit (link to site) focused on providing children from all walks of life with an appreciation for and understanding of the wonders of the San Francisco Bay & Sausalito waterfront.
