Winter's Tune: Music To Warm an Appalachian Night
Winter's Tune is an annual concert held at Mars Hill University to showcase live music from the mountains in Madison County. Music has always been an important part of the Appalachian mountain culture, and an opportunity for friends, neighbors, and community members to join together. What better way to spend a cold December evening than listening to heartfelt music! Showcasing three generations of songwriters, you'll not wanna miss this show! Last year we sold out, so get your tickets early!
Among the songwriters are Joe Penland, Brook and George Buckner with Roger Howell on fiddle, Ashley Heath, Pierce Edens, Andy Buckner, Hannah Furgiuele and Nikki Reid.
