Pre-release screening of the Rise and Fall of Liberty
The pre-release screening of THE RISE AND FALL OF LIBERTY will be on Sunday, Nov 13 at 4pm at the NC School of Science and Math followed by a Q&A session with the Director and Editor.
Purchase tickets in advance here for $8 at the door for $10. Cash or check only at the door.
About the Film
The THE RISE AND FALL OF LIBERTY explores the history an iconic tobacco auction warehouse in the southern town of Durham, North Carolina. After the decline of tobacco, the warehouse became the home of creative artists until it was condemned and later demolished. The 52-minute documentary examines the ebb and flow of Liberty's 80-year lifespan, draws parallels with the evolution of downtown Durham, and reveals the interdependent relationship between the two.
