Calgary Renaissance Singers & Players: Noé, Noé, Noël!
Sunday, December 4, 2016 Pre-concert talk at 7:00 PM, Concert at 7:30 PM St. Stephen's Anglican Church 1121-14 Ave SW (note: street parking only)
The Calgary Renaissance Singers and Players are proud to present Noé, Noé, Noël! featuring music from Old France and New France. Some of the composers representing Old France include Mouton, Costeley, Josquin des Prez, and Orlando di Lasso. New France will be represented by Peter Togni, Eleanor Daley, and Ernest Gagnon with beautiful arrangements of traditional songs.
Joining us will be the CRSP Players, a group of eight musicians led by the wonderful John van Leeuwen playing recorders, a baroque oboe, bassoon, violin, viola da gamba, and harpsichord.
All in all, this promises to be a glorious evening of music, enriched by the acoustic warmth of the sanctuary at St. Stephen's Anglican church. This is a concert not to be missed!
Cost: $20 reg, $15 student/senior, 17 years and younger free.
