The Angels' Share
Sit back and enjoy this screening of The Angels' Share with a few drams!
This bitter sweet comedy, directed by Ken Loach,tells the story of a young Glaswegian father, Robbie, who narrowly avoids a prison sentence by completing community service. He vows to turn over a new leaf and a visit to a whisky distillery inspires him and his mates to seek a way out of their hopeless lives.
The Vine Trust barge, with its 20 seater cinema room, is situated at the Prince of Wales Dock in Leith, just off Ocean Drive, between Ocean Terminal and Tower Place roundabout. It's about a minute's walk from Malmaison by the Shore.
We'll have a dram before the film starts and a couple more afterwards. Drams will be suitably linked to the film. I'll also provide Pringles (because I'm nice like that).
