2nd Annual Earth Care Concert
Experience inspired multi-cultural music in a magical setting-a West Seattle Arroyos private garden with stunning views of Mount Rainer and Puget Sound. Relax in this quintessential Northwest home and garden, perched on a bluff above the Sound, surrounded by nature and the amazing music of Rafe Pearlman. Ticket price includes tours of a solar energy system, lead by A&R Solar, organic finger food, organic wine/beer/nonalcoholic beverages, and an hour-long musical performance by Rafe Pearlman. Food will be prepared by Chef Jenny of Bon Appétit.

Rafe Pearlman's music is anchored by his vocal range, deep and full, flowing forth from cultures around the world, both ethnic and urban. He is currently returning from the wandering road of inspiration, an open-ended tour of Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Colored by the sounds, textures, and experiences of a lifetime of travel, from the Alaskan Bush to the Middle East, Rafe Pearlman's music is in a word inspiring. A study of contrasts, his voice and music have been described as eccentric, passionate, cerebral, gentle, poignant, earthy, and reflective.
Born in San Francisco and raised in Cape Cod, Alaska, and California by wandering artists, Rafe began making visual art with his first steps and started pursuing music in his teenage years, getting his start in the Seattle Grunge music scene of the late 80s and early 90s. A growing interest in mysticism drove Rafe down new pathways, leading him through many bands, styles, and lands, from world-influenced trance and sacred music to pulsing ethereal Brit rock to swampy raw soul blues. But one thing has remained constant: His passion to explore new terrains in sound.
From Seattle, New York, and Los Angeles to Canada, Australia, and Israel, Rafe has shared the stage with Zakir Hussain, Brandi Carlile, Babatunde Olatunji, Candlebox, Cheikh Lo, Sheva, George Brooks, Sky Cries Mary, Jai Uttal, Paul Winter, and Ashish Khan.
A percentage of the proceeds from this concert will benefit Seattle Unity Earth Care Team, committed to being passionate stewards of our Earth, treading lightly with reverence for all life.
