Voices of Innovation

From the vocal pyrotechnics of Claudio Monteverdi, to the uniquely American sounds of Charles Ives, and the bizarre melodic excursions of Sergei Prokofiev, the works featured on this program were created by some of history's most famously innovative composers. The program will also feature a performance by one of music's newest innovators, Composer-in-Residence and violist Kenji Bunch.
Performers include OSO Concertmaster Sarah Kwak, OSO Principal Cellist Nancy Ives, pianist Cary Lewis, Artistic Director and violinist Greg Ewer, and a quartet of Portland's finest vocalists performing madrigals of Claudio Monteverdi.
