** Live Performance

On the heels of its first and second year successes, the Palace Film Festival is proud to present a two-day program featuring film short and experimental films, a feature length film, live on-site performances, and panel discussion with featured director Actually Huizenga, Palace Film Festival curator Heather Gabel, writer & critic JR Nelson, and Aspect/Ratio gallery director Jefferson Godard.

The festival continues its signature live musical accompaniment to original video works programming. Detroit's collaborative artists Kuperus + Miller (aka ADULT.) will debut an engaging new live performance created especially for The Palace Film Festival on Saturday. Breaking from their traditional ADULT. show, the duo will present a forty minute piece incorporating visual and more performative elements. The 2017 edition also welcomes Brooklyn-based artist/multi-instrumentalist Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Om, Lichens) who will be closing the event Sunday evening.

An official After-Party will take place with event partner The Empty Bottle on Saturday, January 28, 2017 featuring a live performance by Brooklyn-based electronic duo Xeno + Oaklander, with Champagne Mirrors, Simulation, and DJ Brett Naucke. Festival tickets do not grant entry to after-party. Please purchase tickets through Empty Bottle at
