Storytellers
From the quirky phantasmagoria of George Antheil's Serenade for Strings, to the character-piece movements of Telemann's The Nations Suite, Kensington Sinfonia presents an evocative program of music surrounding characters and storytelling. We include Purcell's wonderful Chaconne from King Arthur, and invite our good friend Jeremy Brown (saxophone) to play Chase the Money by Canadian composer John Oliver. We also unveil the winner of our Student Concerto Competition this year, who will join us on stage for the conclusion of our season.
