Light in the Moonless Midnight
Kairos Dance Company is a non profit 501 C(3) that uses dance as a platform to bring awareness to social issues in order to better our community. Light in the Moonless Midnight explores the stories of five individuals who have been touched by mental illness, and shows mental illness in its past, present, and hopeful future through dance. Kairos partners with NAMI LA (National Alliance on Mental Illness) to bring Mental Health Awareness to the community. Through these intimate interviews and emotionally stirring dance works, we celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of humans, the struggles many of us encounter when dealing with brain illness, and the possibility of a kinder, more loving society free from stigma and filled with light.
