The final concert of our 43rd season previews the cross-cultural program ORS will take on tour to Spain in summer 2017. The singers share some of the greatest American choral music, both old and new: from traditional and inspirational spirituals, to Morten Lauridsens Madrigali, a set of six fire songs by the Pacific Northwest native and 2007 National Medal of Arts recipient. ORS also honors the music and culture of our tour destination, singing some of the greatest Spanish choral music from the Renaissance to the present. Performances in Portland will be followed by a tour to Barcelona in July.
