*More information available at musicaloffering.org*
THE MUSICAL OFFERING - Twin Cities' finest chamber music ensemble 2016-2017 Subscription Package One ticket to each TMO concert including The Kitchen Revue (regularly $50, all-inclusive), plus three flexible guest passes to use at any regular season concert.
Come and see Minnesotas finest musicians present a variety of stunning chamber music in the acoustically beautiful setting of Sundin Music Hall! Discover the influence of emigrés in Paris, their impact on the musical world, and the beautiful confluence of global talents and tastes inspired by this cultural capital.
Our 46th season spans several continents and reveals years of Parisian character and influence for many musicians. These include composers from Anton Reicha, who came from Bohemia as a student and stayed to become a professor at the Paris Conservatoire, to the Brooklyn-born Aaron Copland, whose studies with Nadia Boulanger helped him create his quintessential American sound.
We are excited to continue our tradition of Salon concerts on February 26! Join us for wine, food, and conversation at this years event, The Kitchen Revue, featuring a delightfully jazzy ballet score of the same name by Bohuslav Martin, who came to Paris to escape the imminent threat of World War II in his home country.
SUBSCRIBER PERKS: TMOs subscription package is $100 for all four concerts, including the Kitchen Revue food & wine event.
