Government Peak Music Festival
The Mat-Su Trails & Parks Foundation (MSTPF) is proud to announce the first annual Government Peak Music Festival, to be hosted at the new Government Peak Recreation Area & Chalet at the base of Government Peak near Hatchers Pass. MSTPF is a non-profit organization that funds and supports quality trails and parks in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough to encourage outdoor recreational opportunities. This event is a fundraiser for the MSTPF and a showcase event for local and statewide musicians as well as to promote awareness and advocacy for trails, parks and all user groups in the Mat-Su Borough. The festival is a full day outdoor event featuring three bands as the main attraction and trails/parks exhibits hall in the Chalet. Additionally, there will be live music in the Chalet, a beer garden (w/locally brewed beer) and food vendors on site.
