Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum Season Finale Concert
New youth Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum of Tri-Valley is closing its inaugural season with the final concert. It will feature internationally acclaimed Music Director Imant Kotsinsh, Artistic Director pianist Temirzhan Yerzhanov in a rare Chopin's work and Bay Area's favourite coloratura soprano Alexandra Sessler in dazzling arias of Queen of Night and Adele.

Chopin: Andante spianato & Grande Polonaise Brillante for piano & orchestra
Latvian-American conductor Imant Kotsinsh is a prominent artist in his native country and abroad. His resident conductor positions include The Bolshoi Theater, Monterey Symphony and Symphony of New Russia; guest appearances - Moscow Philharmonic, The National Latvian Symphony, Gyunggi Philharmonic, Symphony Orchestra of Russia, Perm Tchaikovsky Opera, Chişinău National Opera, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine, Latvian Opera; Music Director positions - Daugavpils Symphony, Yaroslavl Philharmonic and National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan.
Alexandra Sessler, Soprano, divides her time between opera, choral singing, composition, and voice instruction. With appearances nationally and internationally, she has sung with companies such as OPERA America, the San Francisco Symphony, West Edge Opera, Pocket Opera, Opera Cultura, Lamplighters Music Theatre, Golden Gate Opera and at Guadalajara, Mexico's beautiful Teatro Degollado. She is a voice and piano instructor and teaches privately, and also at Spindrift School of Performing Arts, and Bronstein Music.
Temirzhan Yerzhanov launched his international career by winning the Gold Medal at the International Robert Schumann Piano Competition in Zwickau, Germany, and now is an emerging conductor as well. Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory's graduate and former faculty member was awarded 'Best Performer of 2007' title by San Francisco Classical Voice, and has toured a dozen of countries with orchestras, in solo recitals and in collaboration with instrumentalists, opera singers and opera companies, appeared on many TV and Radio stations and recorded CDs.
