The Tallahassee Civic Chorale presents English Traditions
Under the direction of Dr. Leslie Heffner, the chorale presents a program of English composers and setting of English texts. Highlights include Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Five Mystical Songs," David Brunner's setting of "Sea Fever," and William Byrd's "Sing Joyfully." It will also include the world premiere of "The Greatest Ship," a new piece composed by Dr. Tucker Biddlecombe for the Chorale's 30th anniversary.
The concert is on Tuesday, April 26th at 7:30pm in Turner Auditorium on the campus of Tallahassee Community College. Tickets are $9 for Adults, $7 for Seniors and Students, and FREE for TCC students, faculty, and staff with ID.
A reception will follow the concert.
