Windy City Opera presents Don Pasquale, Donizetti's jubilant masterpiece. When Don Pasquales nephew defies his instructions to marry a woman he doesnt love, the elderly bachelor disinherits him and decides to acquire a wife and some new heirs of his own. But his high-handedness breeds conspiracy, and he finds that he still has a lot to learn about both money and matrimony!
Windy City Operas semi-staged production will bring to life both the ardent lyricism and the punchy patter of Donizetti's dazzling score. Our vocalists, accompanied by a small ensemble, will sing the original Italian and English supertitles will be provided.
