From Ireland to Broadway Concert
From Ireland to Broadway is a magical concert event sure to warm the heart and capture the soul of the audience. Ciarán Sheehan and Gabriel Donohue perform a musical mixture of timeless Irish classics, familiar Broadway showstoppers, and moving inspirational favorites.
Ciiarans experience on Broadway includes over 1000 performances as the starring role in The Phantom of the Opera. As a solo artist some of Ciaráns most memorable engagements have been Four sold out performances at Carnegie Hall, The National Concert Hall in Dublin, Ireland, performing the American National Anthem at New York State Governor George Patakis inauguration as well as at various professional sporting arenas including Giants Stadium, opening the dedication of the Irish Hunger Memorial in New York City, soloist at the internationally televised memorial mass for John and Carolyn Kennedy Jr., serenading Ed and Allison Lucas during their wedding ceremony on the infield of old Yankee Stadium, soloist at the funeral service for Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden. Ciaráns voice has an amazing quality that touches the heart and soul of those who hear him sing and his ability to connect with people is simply incredible.
Gabriel is an accomplished musician with appearances from The White House (for the Good Friday Peace Accords) to Carnegie Hall to the last David Letterman Show where he accompanied the incomparable Tom Waits. He has toured throughout the world with Irish music legends The Chieftans, adding guitar, piano and vocals to their dynamic performances. He has performed with The Boston Pops, Michael Flatley, Eileen Ivers, Joanie Madden, and Liam Clancy, to name a few. This Irish born multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter performs on guitar and piano, but plays many more instruments from bouzouki/mandolin to Irish and exotic percussion.
