A Night at the Old English Music Hall with The Old Howard Troupe
This performance will benefit both the Randolph Women's Club and the Randolph Historical Society.
The Old Howard Troupe is an extraordinary league of nine seasoned performers devoted to bringing the experience of the Old English Music Hall to your town! Members of the Troupe wear over-the-top Victorian-style stage costumes typical of the era and perform the hits of the music hall stage, with and without accompaniment. Audience members will recognize some of these songs, and singing along on the chorus will be most welcome!
The Old Howard Troupe's vintage ensemble style features some old favorites of the music hall stage: rousing chorus songs, songs that might make you blush, and bittersweet but tender songs that tug at the heartstrings. There's literally something for everyone in this fast-paced and fun performance. Have no fear, the steadfast Chairman will keep things moving along smoothly with his keen wit and saucy comments, and the celebrated accompanist will keep them all on time!
The members of The Old Howard Troupe greatly enjoy bringing this show to the small performance halls in New England's great old churches, taverns, museums and music halls. Every member of the Troupe has extensive performance experience, both as solo singers and in a wide variety of singing and performance groups. The Troupe includes: Lynn Feingold, Anabel Graetz, April Grant, Jeff Keller, Angela Kessler, Jeremy Kessler, Jean K. Monroe, Phil Nimerskern, and Lynn Noel.
The Old Howard Troupe: Notorious. Frequently Glorious. Sometimes Hilarious. Curious?
