The Rendezvous
The Rendezvous is the place to be in Harlem to see live performances from great independent artists.
The Rendezvous will be talked about one of those historic Harlem events where you could see artists who would become some of the world's top entertainers.
The Rendezvous takes place traditionally on the last Monday of every Month. For the month of May we present a special edition one week early, taking place on May 21st, featuring a double CD Release performance from Green Tea (New CD- "Dosage III: Time to B.E.") and Nicholas Ryan Gant (New CD - "Promises"):
Not just your average soul singer, Green Tea pours her feelings into her music. She skilfully mixes sultry soul with positive lyrics and encouraging tones that make you want another dose every time she sings. As a D.C. native, Green Tea stays true to the eclectic style that moves through the city and blends her inspirations of gospel, soul, jazz, rhythm and blues, opera, and even rock and roll into her craft."Dosage III Time To Be" is her third independently released CD and may be her best yet. You have a chance to hear her perform songs from the new CD and purchase one to take home!
Nicholas Ryan Gant A.K.A. Ghetto Falsetto is a singer/ song writer/vocal composer raised in Phoenix Arizona.now living in Harlem, NYC. He has worked with some of the Recording industry's up and coming artist such as Muhsinah,Bilal Salaam, AmmaWhatt, Jesse Boykins iii, and Fresh Daily. Nicholas has done background vocals for likes of Kim Burrell, Ledisi, Michael McDonald, Fred Hammond, Sheila E. and Tye Tribbett. Gant has also been featured on several independent music projects including "Done Already" by Mabanua (Japan), and "Cuba Aftermarket 2" by Roddy Rod. He is now releasing his second independent project entitled "Promises" and will be performing songs from the CD at The Rendezvous on May 21st.
In addition to these two special CD release performances there will also be a performance from new artist Jonah.
All of these artists will be backed onstasge by The Rendezvous House Band Heshima Moja & Souljourn.

The Rendezvous takes place as always at Shrine World Music Venue at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. bet. 133rd & 134th Street in Harlem, USA.
Doors Open at 7PM. Live Performances begin at 8:00PM Admission is $10.00.
