The Downside of Christmas
A beautiful, funny, and slightly melancholic take on the season, starring Tom Maxwell (Squirrel Nut Zippers) and Brooke Telarico (A Puppet Show Named Julio). Featuring Dave Rosser (Afghan Whigs), Matt Rhody (Cottonmouth Kings), Ben Schenck (Panorama Jazz Band), Clark Stern, Matt Booth, Reid Poole, and Mike Spara (The New Movement, NOLA). Dress like you're going out and join us for stories, calypso, dark poetry, holiday classics and obscure carols!

Imagine if Edward Gorey produced A Prairie Home Companion. You get the picture. Presented in New Orleans' beautiful, intimate Café Istanbul.
