Bellingham's Third Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation
Bellingham's Third Annual Lumber and Lace Ball to Benefit the Whatcom Hospice Foundation will be take place on March 5th at the Majestic Ballroom on North Forest Street.
Last years event was a downright hootenanny! Entertainment will include live music and DJ for your listening/dancing/partying pleasure. Other event highlights include life-design coach Marli Williams as your emcee, professional dance instruction, adult beverages, appetizers, old-fashioned photos, old-time hair-do's, a silent auction full of goodies and a 50/50 Raffle.
The L&L Ball celebrates Bellingham's historical industries and this year will include a tribute to the maritime and fishing industries, in addition to the town's logging industry. This is a semi-formal early-1900's logging and fishing era themed event; dressing up is encouraged!

The Lumber and Lace Ball organized by a group of active community member's who believe the assistance provided by Hospice is invaluable and poorly understood by Whatcom County's younger generation.
All revenues from the Ball are donated to the Whatcom Hospice Foundation. Whatcom Hospice provides our community with compassionate end-of-life medical care and support services to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice never denies any patient services because of an inability to pay. Many people who have never had the need for Hospice services are unaware of the invaluable support they offer. And, what better way to celebrate life than to get all dressed up with your friends and dance the night away!?
