The Creations Concert
Sphere Ensemble, joined by Grammy award winner Victor Mestas, Eric Herrera (Native American Flute), Elena Camerin Young (vocals) and local professional musicians, all performing original songs of nearly 50 students, ages 4 to adult. Orchestrated and arranged by the professional musicians on stage, these songs reflect the core of what the student composers are learning: that music is firstly a means of expressing and communicating what's inside of them and that improvising/composing is natural for all human beings. This concert realizes the epic impact of musical creation, unleashed, when composers of all ages and all levels join together to create fine music, from the heart.
