CARI AMICI CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES - ALAMEDA STRING ACADEMY @ C'ERA UNA VOLTA
This year, the Alameda String Academy is launching the Cari Amici Chamber Music Series.  "Cari Amici" means 'dear friends' in Italian, and perfectly describes the intimate setting of the concerts.

DINNER & A CONCERT

The Cari Amici Chamber Music Series is a whole new series of dinner-concerts presented in partnership with Park Street Italian restaurant, C'era Una Volta, which is a long-time hub of live music in Alameda. "We are so excited to be presenting Alameda String Academy," says C'era Una Volta co-owner Cheryl Principato. "We couldn't pass up on this opportunity to bring these performances to Alamedans."

The concerts begin with dinner seating at 5pm and the concert will follow.

TANGO... TANGLED - JANUARY 17, 2016
Tango Tangled is all about the cello, guitar, and violin.

ASA Faculty guitarist Ross Thompson, cellist Lucas Chen, and violinist Erica Ward lead listeners through an intriguing confluence of sonorities and culture clashes, performing works by...
- Raffaele Bellafronte,
- Ástor Piazzolla
- and one of Thompson's own original works.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Patrons have their choice of how they plan to enjoy the evening - come just for wine and hors d'oeuvres at 6pm (perfect for families with young ones), or at 5pm, linger with your friends over a four-course meal, lovingly prepared by Chef Rudy.

For the ultimate close-up, VIP, romantic, eye-opening, exhilarating artistic experience, choose the front row Opera Seating.  This is probably the closest you'll ever get to the music!  And your first drink is on the house!

The concert will begin at 6:15pm.
