Falmouth March 2016 St Mary Schola
Join us for our Annual Lenten concert featuring A rare performance of Handel's early masterpiece, Dixit Dominus. Considered one of his most thrilling works, full of pulsating rhythms and remarkable range of expression, varying from intense choruses to heart rending arias. Complete with period instruments. The first half of the program will be dedicated to masterworks of the a cappella tradition.
Concert will be performed at three venues: Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Portland, Cathedral of Saint Luke's in Portland and Church of Saint Mary's in Falmouth.
