East Meets West - featuring Autorickshaw
ORIANA looks forward to sharing the stage with Toronto-based east-west fusion trio Autorickshaw at this concert. Autorickshaw features vocalist Suba Sankaran, tabla player Ed Hanley, and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Bell. This Juno-nominated ensemble is praised for its unique blend of Indian folk music, jazz, and funk. The trio has toured extensively across Canada, the US, Europe, the UK, and India.
In this unique concert ORIANA will join Autorickshaw in presenting their original compositions and arrangements. Get ready for an evening of a complex rhythms, brilliant melodies, and exotic harmonies.
