Spring Break-her!
Spring has sprung, birds are chirping, flowers are blooming... that puts me in the mood for some high-speed, death defying, bruise producing hits! That's a normal feeling, right?
The greatest thing ever to take place on eight wheels, in the entire existence of things on 8 wheels, is back as roller derby rolls into Battle Creek. (I wholly acknowledge that "rolls into" is the most overused action verb to segue roller derby taking place somewhere.) And the best part, you get more bang for your buck as this event is a double header, much like Nehebkau. Amiright!
In our first bout, the Battle Creek Cereal Killers will be facing off against Blue Water Roller Derby of Port Huron, MI. Bout starts at 5pm.
In the second bout, the Barry County Black Heart Maidens will take on the Mitten Mavens of Lansing, MI. This bout will begin at 7pm.
Tickets will be $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
