Wild & Scenic Kid's Festival
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is coming to Sioux Falls, and we're putting on a Kid's Festival so kids and families can join in the fun!
Wild & Scenic works with non-profit groups across the globe to host the film festival as a way to outreach into their communities and bring together a diverse audience. Dakota Rural Action, a local grassroots family farm and conservation organization, is bringing the festival to YOU to increase our community's understanding of the connection we share with the planet, and to showcase all the great work being done in Sioux Falls to promote sustainability, renewable energy, and energy conservation.
The Wild and Scenic Film Festival has several kid-specific films designed to help younger audiences think about their connection to the world. We'll be showing five short films, and we're bringing South Dakota author Dan O'Brien out to tell stories about raising buffalo in western SD!
Kids will also get to do some arts and crafts projects designed around solar energy to show kids how innovative the world can be in generating electricity. Bring the whole family!
