The Sync Book: Synchronicity in the Synchronous City
Nine contributing authors of "The Sync Book" (http://www.amazon.com/Sync-Book-Mindscapes-Authors-Synchronicity/dp/1463764006/) will gather in NYC on January 31st to discuss Synchronicity and The Sync Book.
However, this is not an ordinary book reading: this will be an interactive multimedia event.
Our night will open with the NYC premiere of Radio8Ball, a musical divination format where questions are answered by picking songs at random and interpreting the randomly chosen song as the answer to the question, like picking musical tarot cards. (See video in sidebar)
Previous Radio8Ball Celebrity Skype-Ins include guests like Patricia Arquette, John C. Reilly, Seth Green, Nina Hartley and Weird Al Yankovic. -> (guests of 1/31/2012 Radio8Ball to be announced)
Radio8Ball allows us to experience Synchronicity at play. To delve a bit deeper into the subject at hand, we turn to the nine Sync Book authors: Alan Abbadessa Green, Andras Jones, Jen Palmer, Douglas Bolles, Kevin Halcott, Kyle Hunt, Rammer Martinez, Chris Myers and Peg Carter. In addition to their presentations, we will be showing original Synchromystic Short Films from our authors.
We'll wind down with Q&A with a full panel of all 9 authors, who will then sign copies of The Sync Book.
After that we will head out for a group Sync Walk...at the end of which we may find ourselves at a local watering hole or a pot of gold.
There will also be a few surprises (both planned and fortuitous, no doubt).
