Come enjoy the ambiance of the Oakland Museum as we celebrate the arts with spoken word performers, art reception, dance and special performances.
Proceeds to benefit Oakland School for the arts and Having Our Prize Enrichment Foundsation (H.O.P.E Foundation)

ART:
Performance by Oakland School for the Arts modern dance troupe.
Talented local artists will present pieces for art exhibit. Limited edition piece supplied by Justin Bua will be sold at silent auction during the event.
Other items included for silent auction will be items provided by Oakland Raiders, AAA Association and Miles Ahead Travel ~~~

Khari Toure, author of Black Women Are A Blessing and resident artist with Hot Water Cornbread
Paradise - Poet Extraordinaire and community activist
Adrian Castillo - independent poet ~~~
SOUL:
Enjoy the sounds of live music with saxophonist STABE WILSON and band.
Special guest performance by RENEE NEUFVILLE former singer with famed 90's duo Zhane, recently she's been on international tour with Roy Hargrove. Renee's solo production will be available early in 2008. ~~~~~
This will be an elegant evening on the garden with tented area and heat lamps to keep you cozy, food & wine will be provided, support local business at the vendors arts & craft and information booths...this will be a night to remember all for a worthy cause.
